Jimmie Ray Holbrook, age 86, of Attica, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023.  He was born on September 23, 1937 in Knott County, Kentucky, to the late Carl and Goldia (King) Holbrook.  Jimmie had retired from MTD in Willard after over 37 years of dedicated service.  He enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians, NASCAR, going to casinos and drag racing.

He is survived by his children, Belinda Wilson (James Barnett), Marty (Tammy) Holbrook and Carl (Carey) Holbrook all of Willard; grandchildren, Angela, Jonathan, Fostina, Brittany, Marty Jr., Ian, Lindsay, and Tiffany; great grandchildren, Rebecca, Ivan, and Gavin; sister, Trula Crawley; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Elsie Downs, Carl Gene Holbrook, Julis Holbrook, Ulis Holbrook, Dorothy Thornsberry, and Irene Pigman; and the mother of his children, Fosteen Holbrook.

Visitation will be at the Free Will Baptist Church in Willard, Ohio on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of his service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ron Parsons officiating.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Free Will Baptist Church in Willard, Ohio.  Online condolences may be made to his family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com

I’m so sorry that our cousin, Jimmie, passed away. He always brought a smile to our family’s face when he visited us in Kentucky. He loved life. Condolences to the family.

So sorry for your Loss.. many prayers to all. Jimmie was a regular in Hardee's for as long as I worked there. He always got a Hotdog (hed say throw it in the deep fryer for a min) and always add a lil mayo to the bun, I'd tell him that sounded gross. He told me look you gotta try it ! I did and it was delicious!! He was one of my favorite customers !
