Donald H. Baugh Sr., age 76, resident of Shiloh, Ohio passed away on Monday, August 20, 2007 at the home of his daughter, Catherine Fisher, where he lived for the past five years. He was born on April 30, 1931 in Zelda, Kentucky to the late William and Jessie (Smith) Baugh and had been a Shiloh resident for most of his life. He was a veteran of US Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He was formerly employed by Acme in Solon, Ohio; Pioneer Rubber in Willard, Ohio; and Shelby Depot in Shelby, Ohio. He enjoyed the bluegrass festivals and flea Markets. Mr. Baugh had many friends and associated within the Mennonite community in Shiloh.
He is survived by his four daughters, Margene and Frederick Thompson of Shelby, Brenda Lee and Charles Paynter of Grahn, Kentucky, Catherine Ann Fisher of Shiloh and Patricia Lynn Detillion of Perrysville; two sons, Richard Lewis and Cindy Baugh of Mansfield, and Donald H. Jr. and Rachel Baugh of Shelby; 22 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; one sister Billie Jo and Elmer Bolen of West Portsmouth, OH; a sister-in-law, Ruby Baugh of Willard; three aunts, one uncle and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in his death by his wife Marjorie Baugh, his parents, a son, Elzie Baugh; one infant daughter Sheryle Baugh; two great grandsons; a great granddaughter; one sister, Bertha Helen Barnett; and a brother, Claude A. Baugh.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ron Sallee officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or to the family.
