Monica Buenrostro Carr, age 53, of Willard, Ohio passed away at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 1, 1970 in Oregon, Ohio to the late Fransisco and Juanita (Garza) Buenrostro.
Monica loved her family above all. She was a faith filled woman, a lover of life, enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. They took many trips to the zoo, breakfast dates, shopping, and Jungle Jims. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling to see family, going to Las Vegas, antiquing and flea markets. Monica was the first to lend a helping hand and lived in the moment.
She is survived by her husband, Brian Carr; children, Annalicia (Casey), David (Ariel), Morgan, Rachel (Rob), Brittany (Brent), Casey (Patrick) and Sydney; grandchildren, Rowan, River, Cillian, Isabella, Alexander, Skyler, Kendall, Sophia, Kennedy, Macy, Owen, Hudson, Gunner and Knox; siblings, Linda (Jeff), Corrina (Luis), Angie (Stan) and Reno; along with several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jr.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Secor Funeral Home on 202 W. Maple Steet, Willard, Ohio. Her funeral service will be on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church on 25 W. Perry Street, Willard, Ohio. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. We were so sorry to hear about Monica’s passing. We lost contact thru the years but she was always the first to volunteer with a smile and warm heart whenever help was needed. So thankful to have had the chance to know such a wonderful person. Love you all.
