Marcia Gail Russell, age 78, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at her home. She was born on September 18, 1945, in Ashland, Kentucky, to the late Raymond and Frances (Humphrey) Blanton. Marcia loved to bake, cook and spend time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Paul J. Russell, whom she wed on November 27, 1965; children, Darrin M. (Julie) Russell of Bellevue, Paula (Robert) Jennings of Bellevue and Todd Russell of Willard; seven grandchildren Gabby Russell, Caleb Jones, Connor Jones, Julia Jones, Ellie Jennings, Allison Russell and Dylan Russell; four siblings, Mickey (Karen) Blanton of Ashland, KY, Sheila Hale of Ashland, KY, Candace (Jim) Murphy of Ashland, KY and Terry (Cindy) Blanton of Ashland, KY, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her three siblings, Ray Blanton, Tonyah Blanton and Trudy James.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio. Her funeral service will follow the calling hours starting at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio with Pastor Danny Hamilton officiating. There will be a graveside service on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland, Kentucky.
