Zena Hall, age 84, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 at the Blossom Nursing & Rehabilitation in Willard, Ohio. She was born on October 11, 1938 in Jonancy, Kentucky to the late William and Rosa (Calhoun) Tackett. She has been a member of the Guinea Corner Church since 1983 and she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. Zena was formerly employed at Norstat in Norwalk, Ohio and enjoyed spending time with children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Frances Reed of Shelby, Ohio; son, Larry (Patricia) Hall of Odessa, Texas; grandson, James (Brooklyn) Blankenship of New London, Ohio; four step-grandchildren, Christine Brock of Odessa, Texas, Clifford Brock of Odessa, Texas, Chris Blankenship of Shiloh, and Chad Blankenship of Plymouth; one sister, Karen (Everett) Williams of Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Lee Hall whom she married on September 1, 1956; her parents, William and Rosa (Calhoun) Tackett; two sisters, Rena Branham and Zelma Tackett; grandson, Richard Hall; and step grand-child, Dorothy Swank.
Friends may call at the Guinea Corner Church, 2232 Boughtonville Road, Willard, Ohio 44890 on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Zena's funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Fred Rowe and Pastor Erve Bradley officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenwich, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Guinea Corner Church.
