Fanny M. Lindsey, age 83, resident of Greenwich, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at The Laurels of New London in New London, Ohio. She was born on January 2, 1939 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Allen and Junie (McCarty) Barnett.

Fanny enjoyed gardening and fishing. Her family was the most important part of her life and she cherished the time she spent with them.

Fanny is survived by her eight children, Junie Wilson, Rita (Randy) Ramey, Marion (Diana) Lindsey, Lisa (Tom) Hale, Vickie Lindsey (Eddie Hale), Bridget Velasco, Hazel (Gonzalo) Velasco and Linda McBee; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great granchildren; many nieces and nephews; and three sisters, Irene Riley, Thelma Barnett and Josephine Hawks.

In addition to her parents, Fanny was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Lindsey who passed away on February 1, 1999; son, Timothy Lindsey; daughter, Clara Wilson; granddaughter, Stephanie Peavy; two grandsons, Damien Lindsey and Lucas Tuttle; three sons-in-law, Keith Wilson, Charlie McCoy Sr. and Raymond McBee; and 8 siblings, Clarence Barnett, Dorothy Barnett, Emma Moody, Elleree Alyea, Kathleen Hall, Willie Barnett, Sill Barnett, Robert Barnett and 3 infant brothers.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Fanny’s funeral service will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio.
