this man was my absolute best friend. summers spent in the pool and at the shooting range, a movie theater trip almost every weekend, and driving for almost 2 hours very other friday and another 2 hours to take me home every other sunday. he knew all my secrets, even taking a few of them to the grave like a promised he was the epitome of kindness and love and honesty. he cared so much for his family. id like to think that everytime i see a plane in the sky, he told that pilot to come tell me "hey kiddo" for him. i will always miss him.

It was a sad day when we heard the news about Bill’s passing. Although we knew he was struggling with some health issues, we hoped & prayed he could battle on. The neighborhood won’t be the same without him. Kind thoughts and prayers are going out to May & the extended Allman family. I remember Bill always positive, and a kind soul with an infectious laugh. We shared wonderful memories - family gatherings celebrating many occasions with great cook-outs! Always laughter! You and Jerry can now share laughter together in heaven. Dear sister and rest of family know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Trusting our Heavenly Father for his strength and peace. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows." (Psalm 23:1-6) Much love!
