Following her graduation from Willard High School, Carolyn moved to Washington D.C. where she worked at the Pentagon for an Army general. She worked for Pioneer Rubber Company, Willard United Bank and lastly, Shelby MTD from which she retired. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard.

In her spare time, Carolyn enjoyed reading a good mystery novel or catching up on the latest NCIS episode. She was an avid Ohio State University and Cleveland Indians fan who never wanted to miss a game. Her granddaughter, Madelynn, was the light of her life and the bond they shared is one that will be irreplaceable.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Andy (Kristin) Weaver, Steven (Tonya) Weaver and Denise (Sharon) Weaver; her sister and caregiver, Pam Feltner; five grandchildren, Madelynn Weaver, Wyatt Weaver, Chad Weaver, Cody (Virginia) Weaver and Juliana (Dorian) Gist; two great grandchildren, Natalia and Kobe Gist; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, George Lamont “Montie” Weaver, who passed away on June 6, 1995; son, Gene Weaver; and sister, Shirley Steinmetz.
