Joseph Carl Wallace, age 63, of Bellevue, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at UH Parma Medical Center in Parma, Ohio.  He was born on July 8, 1958 in Shelby, Ohio to the late Noah and Geneva (Hicks) Wallace, Sr.  Joe enjoyed any outdoor activity, especially fishing and camping.  He also liked to play guitar, watching westerns and spend time with his family.  He loved to laugh and tell scary stories.  Joe had been a foster parent to many children.

Left to cherish Joe’s memories are his children, Raisa Wallace of Bellevue, Ohio; Richelle (Michael) Kropf of Xenia, Ohio; Joseph Justin Carl Wallace of Texas; Jennifer (Andres) Guardiola of Mansfield, Ohio; DeeDee Hoose of South Carolina; Amanda (Mark) Cains of Toledo, Ohio and other foster children; their mother, Annette Hoose; numerous grandchildren; siblings, Normadean, Ruthleen, Kathleen, Noah Jr., Gary and Noragene; numerous nieces and nephews; and best life-long friends, Tonya Simon Moore and Carla Vaughn.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, David, Christine, Jeweldean and Elwood and a niece, Debbie Cole.

I'm so sorry to hear about Joe he was a good man n a dear friend to me he will be missed everyday by me n Ashley Lucas whom he did so much for thank you Joe for being joeand always looking at the bright side of things a piece of my heart is missing but I know I'll see u again I hope ur dancing in the sky we always talked about Jesus n what a day that would be n thanks for that u loved ur family n will never be forgotten love u paula

I live out in Spokane, Washington and was told by family in Shelby that Joe had passed away. I will aways remember him as a very kind person.
