Mercedes “Tita” Perez Samboys passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Tiffin, Ohio. She was born on September 9, 1967 in Higuey, Dominican Republic to Victor Perez and Andrea Samboys.
Mercedes (Tita) was the most selfless, noble and dedicated woman anyone could have had the honor and privilege of knowing. She was truly a daughter and servant of the Lord, completely devoted to his word and always ready to serve on his name. She only had one daughter, whom she adored with madness, Magdelin, who was the light of Tita's life, for her Magdelin was always her little girl. Tita was an innate mother; she extended her maternal love to all who knew her. Many of those who met her felt the warmth of Mercedes' maternal love. Mercedes was a family woman, a woman of strong character, very independent. Mercedes trusted and rested in her God at all times. She was always there for her siblings, her nieces and nephews, her friends, her family, her church family, her brothers and sisters in Christ, and anyone who needed her.
She is an active member of the Iglesia de Dios de la Profecia.
She is survived by her daughter, Madeline Rodriquez Samboys; mother, Andrea Samboys; siblings, Natividad Medez Samboys, Inocencio Samboy, and Pedro Antonio Mendez Polanco; cousins, Guadalupe Sambois-Taveras and her family (Orlando Taveras, husband and their daughter Lisbeth Taveras); nieces, Patricia and Yesenia; Her closest friends Karol, Maria, Josefina and Reina; pastors and friends Silvia Morla and Anny Sterling; aunts and uncles, Cristina Sambois vda Cruz, Marina Rivera, Leoncio Sambois, Tomas Sambois, Joaquin Sambois, and Rafael Mendez.
