Sarah F. Kanable, age 88, of Perrysburg, Ohio and formerly of Willard, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee., Ohio. She was born October 19, 1928 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to the late Willie and Lantie (Bond) Garvin.
She is survived by 2 sons, Paul (Bernadine) Griffey of Lucas and James (Rachel) Kanable of Findlay; 2 step-children, Michael Kanable and Carol Hills; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Kanable; daughter, Phyllis Etgen; parents, Willie and Lantie Garvin; 13 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio from 5:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M., where the funeral service will be Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 3:30 P.M. with Pastor Luigi Perez officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the Mansfield Cemetery in Mansfield, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Sorry to hear about yoour Mom Jim I remember her well another Basket Ball Mom from the good old days. Mrs Franks the bus driver that took you guys to a LOT of games in good or bad weather. Oh how I loved those days.
