This is a great loss to all who have known Don; my love, sympathy, and respect to his family and loved ones. Having attended his classes for over a decade, he was a man that I held in high regard and I am thankful for those years that he was in my life

My condolences to Don’s family and especially to Heather. We shared some really good times on the many camping excursions around the state many years ago. Cruising in a pontoon boat, watching skunks invade our campsite and enjoying Don-size campfires. I’ll miss checking with him before I start a home improvement project. I’m so glad I got to know him and call him my friend.

Dear Eckstein Family, so sorry to hear about Don.....please accept my sincere condolences ! I have some great memories growing up across the street........the train set in your basement, "sleeping out in the "bunk house ", the girder building set we played with, the boats we would make to sail down the creek, falling thru the ice into the smelly creek, his bullwhip and firecrackers ! We walked to high school together, rain or shine. " Air drying" your Dad's Buick around town ! The game he had a breakaway dunk at Marion Catholic H.S. So sorry he left us........but he left many good memories ! Joe

What a shame, can’t believe he went so fast.. going to miss his knowledge of everything.. If I had a electrical question or how to fix my steps, he had the answer.. Moby and lucky still wait for him every morning at the same time, it’s a habit they may never break.. Rest In Peace..
