Maria D. Luevano, age 40, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016. She was born on December 9, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois to Jose and Maria (Velasco) Luevano. Maria was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She loved her children, nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed hiking, traveling and participating in 5K’s to help raise money. Maria graduated from North Central State College with a Paralegal Degree.
She is survived by her parents, Jose and Maria (Velasco) Luevano; 4 children, George Salazar, Adam Salazar, Nathan Salazar and Summer Perez; 3 brothers, Juan Luevano, Jose Luevano and David Luevano; and a sister, Emi Luevano.
She is preceded in death by an uncle, Juan Velasco; a brother, Joel Luevano; her paternal grandfather, Jose Luevano; maternal grandparents, Maria and Gonzalo Velasco; an uncle, Francisco Luevano and an aunt, Margret Luevano.
Visitation will be at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at 1:00 PM with Fr. Eric Culler officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard. Memorial contributions may be made to Maria’s family in support of her children. Prayers of comfort and healing for Maria’s family. She was such a beautiful lady with the prettiest smile. She treated my daughter with kindness and love and I will forever be grateful. All of the details she put forth to make sure my daughter had beautiful memories did not go unnoticed. May angels lead her in.
