Jon-Erik Northcutt, age 30, resident of Plymouth, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016 at his home. He was born on May 14, 1985 in Willard, Ohio and had been a lifelong area resident. Jon-Erik was a 2003 graduate of Willard High School and Pioneer Joint Vocational School. He then served in the US Army with deployments to Iraq and later stationed in Germany.
He is survived by a son, Marshall Northcutt; his mother, Denise Pugh of New Haven; his father and step-mother, Michael and Sharee Northcutt of Plymouth; a brother, Brandon (fiance’ Heidi Perry)Northcutt of Willard; maternal grandmother, Sharon Pugh of Willard; a step-brother, Frank (Michelle) Combs of Plymouth; nieces and nephews, Madison Northcutt, Kayli, Kohwyn and Liam Combs; and several aunts, uncles and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Peggy Northcutt; and maternal grandfather, Arnold Pugh.
A private funeral service will be held at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Saturday, February 6, 2016 with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth. I was very sad to see that John Eric passed awsy,he worked with me at Cornells a few years back he always made me laugh and enjoyed working with him and he was a very hard working guy
I had the pleasure of working and serving with Eric Northcut in Germany and in Ramadi. He was a great Sapper and a true professional. I’m sorry for your loss and my prayers are with his family and friends.
