Joyce M. Yacob, age 86, of Willard, Ohio passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, Ohio. She was born June 30, 1929 in Willard, Ohio to the late Charles and Ida (Hershiser) Kochel. She retired from Pioneer Rubber Company in Willard, Ohio. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Willard and enjoyed playing cards.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda (Tom) Grama of Newark, Ohio; brother, Richard (Marilyn) Kochel of Attica, Ohio, son-in-law, Larry Heydinger of New Washington; 4 grandchildren, Chad (Tosha) Keaton, Melissa (Kevin) Nelson, Amber Grama and Heather (Lincoln) Shreve; 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Yacob; daughter, Sheron Heydinger; father and mother, Charles & Ida Kochel; brothers, Harold and Charles Kochel; sister, Hilda Seagren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Willard, where the Memorial Sevice will be Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Doug Beggs officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made in Joyce’s name to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Road, Newark, Ohio 43055 or to the First United Methodist Church, 401 East Howard St., Willard, OH 44890.
