Irene Deppen, age 85, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on June 30, 1930 in Willard, Ohio to the late Sabato and Creasie (Montgomery) Lillo. Mrs. Deppen was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and gardening.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Brenda (Mike) Milano of Willard and Ann Garcia of Willard; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and a brother, George (Joan) Lillo of Marion.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Oliver Deppen, who passed away November 30, 2006; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Bob Genho; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky Lee and Sherry Deppen; grandson, Richard Deppen; 3 brothers, Gerald, Tony, Joe Lillo and an infant brother, Allen Eugene Lillo; 2 sisters, Donna Osborne and Mildred Pugh.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. A funeral service for Irene will be Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will take place at Greenfield Township Cemetery in Steuben, Ohio. Brenda and family. Was so sorry to hear about your mother passing away. Did not know her well, but had a few meals at her home and she was always very sweet. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Family of Irene, please accept the condolences of my family… I loved Irene and considered her a very close friend. We shared a lot of good times and canning vegs. together I will miss that as well as Irene. she is in a better place , but she will be missed by all who loved her..
