Lena B. Wyandt, age 96, resident of New Haven, passed away onTuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard, Ohio. She was born on November 27, 1918 in North Fairfield, Ohio to the late Harry and Grace (Woodworth) DuBois and had been a resident of New Haven most of her life. She graduated from North Fairfield High School in 1936. She was a member of the New Haven United Methodist Church and the Live Wire’s Club at the church. Lena was also a member of the New Haven Sunshine Club, Willard Garden Club and the Kingwood Arrangers Guild, where she was a volunteer at the Kingwood Center.
She is survived by one daughter, Charlene Ann (Darrell) Montonaro of Dahlonega, GA; two sons, Charles H. (Ruth) Wyandt of New Haven and Gerald E. (Shirley) Wyandt of Willard and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Wyandt in 1986; her parents, Harry and Grace (Woodworth) DuBois and one sisters, Donna M. Wyandt.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio where the memorial service will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. James Gaston officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Haven United Methodist Church.
