Virginia A. Ally, age 80, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015 in Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard. She was born on August 18, 1934 in Shelby, Ohio to the late Karl and Velma (Snyder) Hoffmann. She was a graduate of Butler High School and had later worked at Midwest Industries for thirteen years. She was a member of the North Fairfield House of Prayer Church and loved cats.
She is survived by a daughter, Joyce (Jimme) Bailey of Shiloh; and a son, Jeff Ally of Attica; four grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, George L. Ally; and a son, Jack L. Ally.
A graveside service will be held at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dan Clouse officiating. Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements. www.secorfuneralhomes.com

To Joyce and Jeff–Our family sends our deepest sympathy to you both. Virginia and I were raised in the same neighborhood and played a lot together in Mansfield. After we both were married, we continued to enjoy our friendship. Our two children, Barbara and Eddie played with you when you were quite small. Bob and George became friends, too. Again, we send our sympathy.
Virginias father, Karl and my father, Jakob, were 1st cousins. I remember playing with she and her brother Bob at Prospect Park on Wolfe Ave in Mansfield when they visited their grandparents. She was always a fun and happy girl. You have our sincere sympathy.
