Robert Laneer Harris, age 64, lifelong resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. He was born on September 24, 1955 in Willard to Curtis Carmichael and Doris (Durham) Scott.
Robert was a tower operator and conductor for CSX Railroad for 38 years. His love for the Lord was prevalent as he was a past deacon for First Baptist Church and had been recently attending the Willard Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed fishing and jazz music and always had his family laughing.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Trenton Harris, Bryson Harris and Mariah Harris; mother, Doris Scott; siblings, Lisha Scott, Timothy (Shawanna) Scott, David Scott, Tonya Scott, Yvonne Barrison, Sabrina Harris, Robin Harris, Curtis Carmichael Jr., Thomas Carmichael, and Paula (Rick) Cline; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Deborah Harris.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Willard Church of the Nazarene, 4414 Towline Road 12, Willard, Ohio on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until his funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Robert's burial will follow the funeral service at Greenwood Cemetery in Willard. Sorry to hear of his passing. He was a friend of the Reel family. Steve and Robbie were friends from grade school at the Eastside school until Steve’s passing . He has also been a life long of my family. Always remember him bringing the boys to the lake and farm. Please know our family has he and the family in our thoughts and prayers.

Love and strength to the family Robbo was a real friend even though I live Kansas City we would talk at least 3 to 4 times a year. When we were 13 or 14 we cut our palms and put them together and been tight ever since. BLESS UP
