Aurie B. Szymczak, age 70 of Crestline, Ohio passed away at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 25, 2019. She was born September 23, 1948 in Perry County, Ohio to the late John Sr. and Lillie (Pimperton) Carey. She had worked for the C.E. White Company in New Washington and the Country Kitchen in Willard. She enjoyed going to auctions, playing cards and bingo.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard "Barney" Szymczak Sr., whom she married July 22, 1967; 2 sons, Chuck (Lisa) Szymczak and James (Crystal) Szymczak; 8 grandchildren, Corwin, Alex an Sarah Szymczak and Kaylin Wright, Alivia and Avery Szymczak and Brianna and Tyson Szymczak; great granddaughter, Sophia Mae Szymczak; 2 brothers, Dave (Harriet) Buchanan and George (Brenda) Carey; 2 sisters, Sherry Buchanan and Frances (Jerry) Gray; many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents John Sr. and Lillie Carey; daughter, Angellina "Angie" Szymczak and a son, Bernard P. "Bernie" Szymczak Jr.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 12:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Church of the Nazarene at 500 East Main Street in Crestline, Ohio.
