Carol,I was saddened to hear of the loss of your mother. Mrs. Lohr was a quiet, soft spoken woman. I worked in the H.S. office with her and she always had kind words for everyone. She also put up with the silly things we used to do. What a wonderful life we had back in the 50’s. I send my sincere sympathy to you all.

Janet Terveen Moore - Sep 24, 2013

My thoughts and prayers are with the Lohr family. Your mom and my mom were friends for a very long time…now they will be again in heaven. I know the loss is hard but what a long and wonderful life your mom had…she looked wonderful when I saw her at mom’s funeral. May God bless everyone.

My condolences to the Lohr family. I worked with Mrs. Lohr in the high school office during my senior year. She was a wonderful lady and a gentle spirit. I can still see her scurrying down the halls of WHS and singing in the Methodist choir at church. Her niece also was married to my brother, so we had a bit of a family connection as well.

WHS Class of 1961 - Sep 22, 2013

Our prayers and thoughts go out to the Lohr family in the loss of their loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mabel. She was truly a great lady and Willard High School was better because of the role she played there. We were blessed to have her attend our 45th class reunion and we are thankful for the memories we have of this truly wonderful lady.

To all of the family,
Mabel was a wonderful lady. We will always cherish her memory. The community and school benefited greatly from her presence and personal attention as did the church. My thought go out to all of you.
