Marian L. Archer, age 90, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019, just shy of her 91st birthday. She was born on March 4, 1928, in Ashland, Ohio, to the late Charles Burtle and Mary Bell (Kirk) Whitcomb. Marian graduated from Shiloh High School and had worked at Pioneer Rubber Company, where she retired. Marian was an accomplished seamstress and quilter. She had enjoyed playing Bingo at the Willows at Willard, where she won many prizes. Overall, her most significant accomplishment was raising her children and providing a home for her family. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by 4 children, Linda (Tom) Walker of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Rebecca (Roy) Battles of Pagosa Springs, CO, Kathy (Steve) Loney of Mt. Pleasant, TX, David (Barb) Kilgore of Edgewater, FL; 3 step children, Greg (Judy) Archer of North Baltimore, Jim (Thora) Archer of Findlay, John (Catherine) Archer of Findlay; several grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren and step great grandchildren; a sister, Arlyce Ryan of Lakewood, OH; 2 half-sisters, Sue Hallam of Shiloh, OH, Jeanne Dole of Knoxville, TN; a half-brother, Michael Weaver of Miamisburg, OH.

In addition to her parents, Marian is preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Kilgore; second husband, Art Kutch; third husband, Henry L. Archer; a daughter, Karen Maholm; and a sister, Helen Light.

Visitation will be at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Saturday, March 16, 2019, from 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM, where a memorial service will be at 10:30 AM with George Theobald officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Marian's name to the American Heart Fund or Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio.
