Pauline Greer, age 92, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard, Ohio. She was born in Norwalk, Ohio on January 16, 1921 to the late Lloyd and Edna (Sheldon) Bell. Pauline enjoyed watching Willard sporting events, cooking, baking and most of all, spending time with her children, grand children and great grandchildren.
Pauline is survived by her daughter, Barbara Greer of Willard; daughter-in-law, Ruby Greer; two granddaughters, Lori (Steven) Gates of Willard, and Betsy Greer of Bowling Green; two great grandchildren, Will and Ella Gates of Willard; one sister, Marjorie Wallace of Norwalk; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Oris R. “Red” Greer on March 3, 2005; son, William M. “Bill” Greer; sister, Mary Svedsen; and brother, Kenneth Bell.
There will be a graveside memorial service on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio with Rev. Ricky Branham officiating. The family will celebrate Pauline’s life at the Willard Elk’s following the graveside service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Willard Boosters Club. I’m so sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. She was a great lady, with a beautiful smile. I just know she is with her loved ones, and perhaps she stopped by to see my mom & dad. Our parents were the best of friends. Your mom introduced my mom to my dad, and the rest is history! May God give you the courage, strength and grace to accept His will.
