Dean E. Shepherd, age 41, resident of Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Fireland’s Regional Medical Center in Sandusky. He was born on January 26, 1971 in Willard, Ohio to the late Orbie and Marjorie (Miers) Shepherd. He loved his children very much. He also enjoyed reading, playing cards, music and drawing.
Dean is survived by his three children, Melissa (Michael Norris), Dean Jr. and Christopher Shepherd; the mother of his children, Virginia Champasouk; two brothers, Tony (Dawn) Miers and David (Pilar) Shepherd; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents Orbie and Majorie Shepherd he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Susie White; and Paul and Dorothy Miers.
Friends may call on Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Willard Church of God on Willard West Road from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM, where Rev. Greg Griffith will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Willard. Memorials contributions can be made to the children in care of their mother, Virginia Champasouk.
