Theodore M. "Ted" Sabo, age 79, resident of New Washington, Ohio, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 30, 2018. He was born on September 21, 1938 in Murray City, Ohio to the late Frank and Mary (Scheibelhoffer) Sabo. Ted graduated high school and enlisted in the Army, proudly serving our country. He is a retired brick layer and was a member of the Ohio Brick Layers #40. Ted had also worked as a custodian for Buckeye Central Schools and enjoyed being outside, spending time with his friends, helping out at the farm, but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.

Ted is survived by his wife, Judith "Judie" (Beres) Sabo, whom he married on May 15, 1965; 4 children, Julie (Racey) Morris of Hilliard, Ohio, Frank (Doris) Sabo of Hilliard, Ohio, Theodore "Ted" Jr. of Parma, Ohio, Beth Sabo Braman of Doylestown, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, Kristal, Emily, Zachary and Noah Sabo, Abigail, Samantha and Amelia McFadden, Madelyn, Allie, Isabella, Jared and Tyler Braman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death his parents, Frank and Mary Sabo; and his siblings.

Friends may gather at the Secor Funeral Home in New Washington, Ohio on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral mass will be held at St. Bernard Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at 11:00 AM with Father George Mahas officiating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery in New Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Buckeye Central Athletic Boosters (Ted Sabo Golf Cart Fund), 938 South Kibler Street, New Washington, Ohio 44854 or donation of your choice.
