Dottie Marie (Ray) Schlotterer, age 75, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Hillside Acres Nursing Home. She was born in Greenwich, Ohio on August 24, 1937 to the late Albert and Leora (King) Ray. Dottie was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her friends, family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her son Rick (Becky) Schlotterer of Plymouth; daughters Jenny (Bob) Siebenaller of Tiffin and Karla (Decklin) MacNamee of Mason, MI; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; brother Bill (Lynn) Ray of North Fairfield and sisters-in-laws Jeanette Ray of Greenwich, Theresa Prendergast of Mansfield, Audrey Schlotterer of Celina, Carol (Bob) Schriner of Mansfield, Lucille King of GA, Elizabeth Schlotterer of AZ, Helen Schlotterer of Elyria and Nancy Schlotterer of PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Schlotterer Sr. whom she married on September 29, 1956; sister Betty Odson and Brother Robert Ray and many beloved brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws
Friends may call on Monday, November 26, 2012 at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, from 4:00 to 7:00PM with a prayer service beginning at 7:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 11:00AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with Father Eric Culler officiating. Was sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I am sure that the DEAR LORD was holding out HIS hand and saying to Dottie, “Come my faithful servant and join ME in MY KINGDOM.” I know that your dad was also waiting for her and smiling.
