Olive G. "Ollie" Walker, age 93 of Willard, Ohio passed away at her home on June 3, 2018 She was born February 21, 1925 in Milan, Ohio. She had worked at the Pioneer Rubber Company in Willard and was a cook for the Willard City Schools. She was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Cl of C and the 55 Plus Club. She was the coordinator for the St. Francis Catholic Church funeral dinners for over 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and most of all, spoiling her grandchildren.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Mary Eckert, Barb (Craig) McPherson and Sue (Dave) Ebersole; grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William J. Walker; parents, Elmer and Sadie (Keller) Signs; son, William Lawrence Walker; daughter-in-law, Jerilyn Walker; grandson, Rocky Worcester; great-great granddaughter, Aubrey Thayer; great grandson, Oliver Bolden; 5 brothers, Leo, Bill, Tony, Ike and Dick Signs.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio. The funeral mass will be Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard with Fr. Mike Diemer officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard. Memorial contributions may be made to the Willard Food Bank or to the donor's choice. Thank you for letting me know of the passing of Oli. I always enjoyed visiting with her when I was done working in her landscape beds of course she loved to talk your ear off. I will miss her visits am glad I had a long talk with her in april when I was there. You all have my prayers.
