William E. “Buck” Hale, age 75, of Attica Ohio and former Willard resident passed away at the Bucyrus Community Hospital on Tuesday, September 25th, 2012. He was born on May 10, 1937 in Drift, Kentucky to the late Leo and Mary (Mullins) Hale and had been a Willard, Ohio resident the majority of his life. Mr. Hale was retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad where he worked as a crane operator. After the passing of his first wife, Mrs. Christine Hale, Buck married Annette (Howard) Hale in October of 2011. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Annette (Howard) Hale; one son, Kevin Hale of Willard; two daughters, Mary (Lewis) Combs of Plymouth and Stacey Hale (Alice Barra) of Allen Park, MI; four brothers, Lee Hale, Jack Hale, Paul Hale and John Hale; three sisters, Alene Sexton, Della Gayheart and Nola Gayheart; nine grandchildren, three step grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Christine Hale; two daughters, Angela Adams and Lisa Hale; two sisters, Christine Hicks, Arlene Barnett and an infant sister Patricia Hale;
Calling hours will be held Friday, September 28th, 2012 from 10:00 AM – 12 Noon at the Tiro United Baptist Church, 5205 St Rt 39, Tiro, Ohio 44887 with funeral service immediately following at the church at Noon with Pastor Merlin Dye officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven. Secor Funeral Home in Willard assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

To the Hale Family, I am so sorry to hear the loss of your dad. I have so many good memories growing up as neighbors on 99 and playing with all of you. Your mom and dad taking us all to Geauga Lake and having an awesome time. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Your mom, dad, Angie and Lisa are together looking down and watching over all of you.
