Barry J. Cooper, age 54, resident of Plymouth, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2011 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on September 21, 1956 in Circle Pines, Minnesota to the late Leo and Mary (Trappen) Cooper and had been a Plymouth resident since 1997 having moved from Illinois. Mr. Cooper was employed with CSX Railway in Willard and served in the US Air Force. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plymouth and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Celine (Kesler) Cooper whom he married on September 19, 1989; a step-son, William Briney of Highland, IN; two sisters, Lori Olson; and Shelly Hanson; three brothers, Joel Cooper; John Cooper; and David Cooper all of Minnesota.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plymouth with Father Nicholas Cunningham officiating. Celine my thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Barry will truly be missed at the Country Kitchen. I have shared many good laughs and great times serving him coffee! The seat at the end of the counter was always his and it has been empty alot thru his illness so glad he came to see us last week I hope you will stop and see us and lean on us if you need!My sympathy, Anita
