Condolences
Angel, so sorry to hear about your dad. You and I have always been such good friends if you need anything please let me know. I have so many memories of your dad from back when we hung out all the time(He always called me, Shelley Oney Bologna with his big smile and laugh). He could always put a smile on my face. He always had such a big heart. I know your anger, but don’t let that take from all the great memories. You and I have always been there for each other even now that the years have gone by. Call me if you need someone. I will keep you and the kids and Bud in my prayers.
Angel so sorry to hear about your Dad. I know how bad it hurts. I wish I could say something to make the hurt go away but I can’t. Only time and all your good memories can do that.
Angel,
You probably do not remember me, but I am Duck’s first cousin. I am the daughter of Morg and Louise Smith. (Mom was Duck’s Aunt) We lived the last house in Dismal Branch where your Granny Mabra lived. I was so broken hearted when I heard the news – I just thought the world of Duck!! God blessed you with a wonderful Dad!! I remember when him and your mom would bring you, Lance, and Brian home to KY they would always come to our house to show you kids off. They were both so very proud of all three of you. He always told Mom he named you Angel because you were his little Angel. I know it hurts so deeply to lose a parent – I have lost both of mine now, but please look to God for all your answers. He can and will ease your pain. Duck was a great person and I loved him very much. Again, I would just like to express how very sorry I am to hear this news. With Deep Sympathy, Becky Smith Patrick, Hindman, KY

Your dad knew that you loved him and he loved his grandchildren. You guys were his world. He’s in a better place now. Even thou he will be missed her on earth he will always be in your heart. Never feel as if you failed him. You were always there for him. I’m so proud to call you my daughter. You have worked so hard to give him a nice burial. I will miss him so very much but I will keep his memory alive for his grandchildren. I will always be here for you to talk to anytime that you want. Your dad was a good man and would give anyone his shirt off his back if they needed it. He will be missed by many people. I love you and never forget that.
Angel, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I loved him. I KNOW he is in a better place and away from the pain that he has carried. I will hold you in my thoughts and prayers. Rachel
I just want to thank everyone for all the kind words and prayers. I know that Dad is in a better place now and away from all the evil, but it is still hard to let go. It is so hard to let go of all the anger and hurt but I am trying. I was so angry with him at the time of his passing and I wish now I could turn back time and tell him that I loved him and everything would be ok and we could get through this all again. I just need to hold on to all the good memories and forget the bad ones. I need to learn to forgive. Once again thank you to all of you.
My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family.
Angel, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I knew Ronnie and he was a good person. He is in a good place now and safe from all evil. If you need anything just let me know. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May he rest in peace now.
